Discipling The Desperate -The Spirit's Ministry To Hurting Believers

We are living in a day when soul care by the Church is a lost art. The trend in recent decades has been toward trusting hurting believers to Christian psychologists who, in the main, do symptomatic treatment.
Forty years of witnessing the Holy Spirit’s transforming lives through the ministry of Grace Fellowship International, and spin-off ministries, have amply proven that the flesh or self is the root problem. Scriptural discipleship, or sanctification by faith, is rooted in the believer’s cross (Gal. 2:20, Rom. 6:6) with most psychological maladies responding to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in a fraction of the time required by psychotherapy.
It is my prayer that the case studies contained herein will restore the faith of Church leadership, and her members, in the transforming work of the Spirit which will revitalize the Church through personal revival. The scripture commands it, and the critical situation in our country demands it! – Dr. Solomon
